Feilding Aerodrome situated on Campbells Road just 4 ks from Feilding town center is home to a diverse collection of aircraft and aviation-related businesses.

The main runway 10/28 is sealed, 1000 meters long, and is separated from the rest of the field by cattle grids at either end. See the AIP for details.

A large grass area to the south of the sealed runway is extensively used by gliders but can be used by powered aircraft for take-off and landing. Sheep are often grazing so take care.

The CAA has a useful little booklet “In and around Manawatu”. Definitely worth a read if you intend to do some flying in this area
